Marco has 20 years of experience in pharmaceutical and clinical scientific research. He received his PhD in Biochemistry at the University of Roma Tre (Supervisor Prof. Ascenzi Paolo) and specialized in Clinical Biochemistry at the Department of Clinical Biochemistry of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Rome Tor Vergata (Supervisor Prof. Claudio Cortese). He worked at the Integrated Laboratory of Advanced Methodologies (Lima) of the Bioindustry Park Cnavese under the guidance of Prof. Mauro Fasano following experiments in Nuclear Magnetic Disperion (NMRD). He subsequently worked as Senior Research Scientist in the Biochemistry Department of the Merck, Sharp and Dohme (MRL) pharmaceutical industry at IRBM in the cardiovascular and viral disease area. He is currently the director of Studio Mattu STP SRL which works in the diagnosis and prevention of metabolic disorders and cardiovascular diseases he is the author of several scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals and Co-inventor of many patents.
